Watching, her eyes got glued to her phone, and at instance she notice something dropped on her phone screen, it was a tear drop.
The second dropped, the third dropped, and her eyes became blurry, she couldn’t see what was on the screen anymore, and she was lost in tears. She felt her heart beating fast and she clinged to the pillow on her bed, using it to cover her entire face, then she began to say,”Lord I’m sorry,I’m desperate for you, save me from this addictions, I need to find my peace”.
She kept on speaking to herself, and the phone kept on talking on the bed, “you need Jesus”. Jesse began to remember all of the bad things she has done, how her brother tried to talk her out of it, since they were the 2 left after the car incident where they lost their parents.
She remembered how she would dress for church on Sundays and be glad to spent time in God’s presence, she remembered how she was so interested in Hillsong music and maverick city, and realized she has been far from God. After about 30 minutes, still in those thoughts, she became dizzy and slept off.
