Soon, he reconnected the description of the religion in the video with his childhood memories. He remembered not much understandable but beautiful Holy Mass, the smell and sounds of the church, the colorful windows in the cathedral, and the monotonous sermons.
His parents did not go to church much – only during Easter or Christmas – and he ceased to go with them long ago. His friends mocked the belief and made tons of jokes about the church and the pope. He heard about different scandals and spoke badly about the church to blend in. It was actually shocking for him to see much more liberal views voiced by a distinct member of the Catholic community.
When he went to the page that hosted the video, he surprisingly found many young faces, as well as many topics that were not connected to the church in his mindset – psychology, identity, self-esteem, work-rest balance, etc. He decided to look for more.
