So,Jesse kept looking and wondered if this is really possible… This person talked about “Interfaith marriage”. After all, Jesse dreamed of his beloved half, but everything did not work out, he constantly thought what was wrong with him, because he saw all the lovers around him, and probably everyone knew this feeling when you are alone in addition to depression, without motivation, you consider others better than yourself and begin to bury yourself in an even deeper hole, and he believed that he would still find someone and that person would pull him out of depression.
Yet he did not realize that he was no longer a little boy and that he should understand that he must take responsibility for his life. This outstanding person intrigued Jesse with his words and motivated him in a certain way, he said that people are different and everyone has their own path, if a person is desperate, then be in this state as long as you need, but you should not get stuck in this period.
But indeed, Jesse is not having an easy time right now. Then he listens carefully to the video and comes across such words: everyone has their own deck of cards, someone has an ace up their sleeve, and someone has the smallest,BUT everyone disposes of their deck as he needs, and Jesse was inspired by this phrase, and he realized that it was time to end this depressing phase of his life and move on to his dreams.
One day, going to the university, he meets a classmate named Leila, she was new… Few people wanted to talk to her, because she was covered and was a Muslim. But Jesse fell in love at first sight, but she moved away from him, because Muslim women have their own rules for communicating with men, you can’t hug and kiss on the cheek when they meet, ask to take off your turban when it’s very interesting, etc. It would seem that they could not succeed.. But fate turned out differently.
So,Jesse fell in love with her so much that he began to read a lot about Islam, and he was interested in it, but there was one problem that he was a Catholic, and Leila was a Muslim and she did not greet him for a long time, did not speak and tried in all ways to avoid him, but at one point they met their eyes and Jesse could not resist and asked her not to go anywhere and listen to him, Leila already wanted to go, but still stopped… Jesse told her that she might find it strange, but Jesse told her about his feelings, and Layla ran away without a word. Suddenly, she disappears from class, and Jessie is confused again, does not know where she is and what she is and what happened… For him, it was like an abyss, into which he was being dragged more and more… Two weeks later she returned, and Jesse had a spark in his eyes, and it passed him even more, but at the lecture he noticed that someone was looking at him, since he had raised his head, he could not believe his eyes that he had met her eyes. Jesse couldn’t take his eyes off Layla.. He noticed her smile and felt like the happiest man in the world at that moment. He kept his diary where he described her beautiful eyes, and face, and the first thing he wrote was about her name, extremely beautiful and since he became more and more interested in religion, he learned that her name was not simple, but meant flower “lily”, he constantly dreamed of how he would hug her and call Leila his beloved… But he knew that everything would be for a reason.
So, after the incident when their eyes met, Jessie went out to breathe in the beautiful garden near the university after class, and unexpectedly saw her in front of him, and was amazed. She had an extraordinary voice and was as sweet as honey, she wanted to talk to Jesse about his feelings. He said that he understood that it was not possible, that you were a Muslim, and she stopped him and asked him to listen to her… they were silent, only looking at each other, and yet Jesse asked her to say something, or he would be forced to leave because he could not bear to be around for so long, but at the same time so far away from her.
So, Layla still dared and replied that she felt something too, but warned Jessie that if she accepted his feelings for her, their future would still be in jeopardy. But when Jesse heard this, he seemed to be dumbfounded, and he assured her that he would do everything to give them a chance for a good and common future. It is no coincidence that Leila warned Jesse, because her family is religious and conservative and, accordingly, the father did not want to see Jesse next to his daughter, but the daughter begged him to accept him, and that she loved him very much and his father resisted…. but over time, Leila’s father and mother did not mind, but it was quite strange and it did not interfere with the happiness of Jesse and Leila, now some time has passed, Jesse became a potential bridegroom for Leila, and her parents did not mind, although it was strange, still for Leila.Jesse really wanted to marry Leila and told her father about his intentions, But he obviously did not like it and said that it was not possible, they were of different religions… Jesse was disappointed and didn’t show Layla… Jesse read and heard a lot about interfaith marriage among Muslims and was really amazed at how problematic it is, not so much for a Muslim man, but as for a Muslim woman…
But he did not give up and thought a lot about this question, how he still got out of this situation. But an event happened that shocked everyone: at one point, Leila’s dad locked her at home and did not let her out, Leila cried, did not understand what was happening, and she wanted to go to Jessie and had no contact with him, because her phone was taken away. but Jesse realized that something was wrong, he came to the door of Layla’s house, but he was chased away.. father said everything is over your relationship and jesse didn’t give up and tried to find out the truth but father didn’t admit it for a long time but still he felt sorry for him Jesse and replied one man liked our Layla he is Muslim, they will succeed and Jesse heard the shocking news that Layla is being forcibly married …
Layla and Jessie were desperate and couldn’t believe it. Poor Leila hated her family, for this she resisted in every way and prayed to Allah that they would reunite with Jesse, but she realized that this was the end and that she would not see him again. And then the tragic day came for Leila, when she became a bride, she was white on her face, she ate little in the place, most of the time she refused to eat, Jesse was not visible, he did not come again, and her father told Layla, if he loved you, he would be here and would do everything for you. And Layla couldn’t hold back her tears, but her father ordered her to wipe away her tears and assured her of a happy marriage with this man. And Leila was supposed to go to the marriage ceremony, and Leila looked at her lover but did not see and despaired. but Jesse was waiting for the right moment for Layla to be left alone and here is the very moment and he kidnaps Layla, it was unexpected for Layla’s family and they panicked and the groom was very furious….
and now Leila and Jessie are gone….
But the story is this, the reason why Jesse disappeared is because he was tormented by thinking about how to save his beloved and reunite with her, and in the end, Jesse, or rather Khalil-Ibrahim (Jesse’s newly appointed name), decided to convert to Islam in this way, believing in Allah and with the permission of the Prophet Muhammad, he wanted their wedding to go through all the rules of Islam, so when Khalil-Ibrahim (Jesse) kidnapped Layla, he said that we were going to get married, and Layla asked how it was possible, but he did not answered, said that everything was later, Leila did not understand where they were and where they were going, and assured that her family would not like it… But finally they arrived at a beautiful mosque, and Leila still did not understand what was happening. Jesse took Leila’s hands and said my name is Khalil-Ibrahim from now on, and she couldn’t believe her eyes, she asked how it was possible that you are a Catholic and he answered for you, I will do anything, you are my beautiful universe, I converted to Islam, and she was shocked… and Khalil-Ibrahim added that I want you to conclude a nikah (religious marriage) in this mosque, and she agreed. It was extraordinary. They were so happy.
Since they became husband and wife, they officially returned home, because it was necessary to explain everything to Leila’s parents, because everyone was looking for her. Ever since the family saw Leila safe and sound, they were very happy, but at the same time they were angry with Jesse and drove him away, but Leila replied that this is my husband Khalil-Ibrahim and from now on no one can separate us Leila’s parents did not understand what was going on, and Leila explained everything that Jesse had converted to Islam and they were surprised how he had done this, but after such an act, the family was happy, but it took time to accept it all, but later the family gladly accepted Khalil-Ibrahim from now on. The couple lived happily and later they had children, a boy Fikret and a girl Zeynep. This family was admired by everyone and was an example for all couples who wanted but feared interfaith marriage.
For example, Khalil-Ibrahim (Jesse) talked about the fact that until the last moment he did not believe that this was possible, because everyone wrote and all prominent people talked about how difficult interfaith marriage can be and that it is better to leave this thought. But Jesse changed everything and replied that if you really love, you will do everything to be with your beloved, and yes, the path was hard, but it was worth it. We only live once, and if you have met and feel that this is exactly the person who will be with you all your life, you should do everything for him. So,interfaith marriage has a difficult path of acceptance, but everyone deserves happiness, yes, the religious issue is complicated, but when you love, it no longer seems like something problematic for you. In the matter of interfaith marriage, there are still solutions that will help to avoid difficulties on this path.
So, the family of Khalil-Ibrahim (Jesse) and Leila lived happily, raising their children in love and harmony… Therefore, there are no problems in the world that even the most difficult issues (religious) cannot be solved, and you can be happy if you really want to.
